In celebration of National Youth Day, Maharaja Agrasen University opens golden opportunity for young singing talent (both male and female) in the age group 15-30 years by launchingYouth Singing Star Music Competition on 6 th and 7 th January, 2018 from 9 am to 4 pm on each day. The event is being organized by Sur Aradhana Society. The selected singers will appear for next stage of audition on Sunday, 14 th Jan, out of which 30 or more singers will be finally selected depending on the standard of singing. The selected singers will be called for allotment of songs on Sunday, the 21 st Jan, 2018 from 10 am onwards out of a list of songs of our choice which will be put up on our website at 2.30 pm on 17 th Jan, 2018. There will be two rehearsals, first on Sunday, the 28 th Jan, 2018 and 2 nd on Thursday the 8 th Feb, 2018 from 10 am to 6 pm on both days. THE FINAL COMPETITION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, THE 9 TH FEB, 2018 FROM 4 PM TO 7 PM. First three winners will get chance to perform with renowned artistes of film industry and the top winner will be declared YOUTH SINGING STAR, 2018.
Those wishing to participate can fill the application form available at www.suraradhana.in . They must bring a print out of their filled form on 6 th or 7 th Jan, 2018. Advance registration is NOT compulsory and anyone can come at Venue and fill the form on the spot. There is no participation fees, and also no money will be charged from any singer directly or indirectly at any stage. Rules and Regulations for participating are available at website www.suraradhana.in. It is clarified in Rule 11 that this competition is strictly for youth in the age group 15 to 30 years as on 1 Jan, 2018. Anyone who fills form but is later found to be not falling in the age group of 15-30 years on Ist Jan, 2018, will be disqualified in next stage of competition even if he/she has cleared the previous audition somehow. All audition rounds, rehearsals and final competition will be held at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology and Management, Plot No 1, Sector 22, Rohini, Delhi-110086.

Making its humble beginnings in 1991, Sur Aradhana today is at the zenith of its 25 year old journey with an enviable record of providing stage to many singers including Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Akriti Kakkar during their struggling period. Sur Aradhana’s Annual Awards Function to honour established artistes of filmdom as also recognizing those who have done yeoman’s social service, has become one of topmost prestigious events of the capital. Hundreds of film artistes have been honoured including music director Naushad, actors Dev Anand, Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna, Shammi Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Seshadri and singers Udit Narain, Suresh Wadkar, Kumar Sanu, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kavita Krishnamurty and many more.
